Jude Broughan was born in New Zealand and lives and works in Brooklyn. She is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts and Hunter College, and has exhibited in New York and internationally. Recent solo and group exhibitions include “Best of 2012” at Soloway, “Written by Snakes” at Churner & Churner, “Nauscopy” at Chashama 461 Gallery, “More Songs about Buildings and Food” at Newman Popiashivili Gallery, and “Dead in August” at Site95/NYCAMS (all in New York), “As if You Were Bringing Back Dust From the Moon” at Papakura Art Gallery, Auckland, and “New.New York” at the Essl Museum, Vienna.
